Lead Technician

Gateway Golf Cars is currently looking for candidates that are motivated to succeed, can handle multiple projects, have good work ethic, and want the opportunity to grow. The ideal candidate will have Mechanical/Technical experience, takes pride in their work, ability to diagnose electrical issues, and willing to learn new skills. Gateway Golf Cars is an authorized EZGO dealer, we work on all makes and models of gas/electric golf cars at our original O’Fallon location and our new St. Louis showroom and service center.

Lead Technician Job Duties:
Perform routine maintenance on golf cars.
Detail, Accessorize, and Customize golf cars.
Diagnose mechanical issues and replace parts.
Provide excellent customer service.
Forklift Certification is a plus (Gateway will pay for Certification for the right candidate).
Service invoicing.

*This position is for a Lead Technician with the opportunity for growth into management at the St. Louis location.

Local Driver

Gateway Golf Cars is currently looking for a Local Driver to haul our golf car fleet to scheduled events. The ideal candidate for this position will be an experienced driver, possess excellent judgement, and a high level of professionalism. This position will demand an individual to have good work ethic and deliver superior customer service.

Local Driver Job Duties:
  • Valid Driver’s License with driving record meeting Company Fleet Policy Standards.
  • Gateway will pay for a Missouri Class E licensing test if not already licensed.
  • Loading, Unloading, and Securing equipment and materials; use of Chains, Ratchet Straps, tarps etc. to secure loads.
  • Daily pre-shift vehicle and equipment inspections, including any required DOT forms.
  • Ability to interact with public, supervisors, and coworkers professionally at all times.
  • Possess a strong work ethic with a commitment to safety and excellence.
  • Ability to manage time to ensure timely delivery of fleet.
  • Withstand prolonged and repeated: lifting (including overhead, up to 50lbs); standing; climbing; kneeling; reaching and feeling; crouching and crawling.
  • Ability to work with a heightened awareness and maintain a high level of driver integrity.
  • Possess and ability to maintain a valid DOT medical card.
  • All applicants are subject to pre-employment background check, must be over 18, and have a current / be able to pass a DOT physical.
